In 1991, a small group of American women living in Dubai began meeting for coffee mornings at the Consul General’s home. Since then, the American Women’s Association of Dubai and the Northern Emirates (AWA) has grown into a vibrant organization that connects more than 330 women with a supportive network of fellow expatriates, cultural integration, charitable works and of course, plenty of fun activities!
